I had enough of it! It's harassing me every second I use it! The slowness, the hiccups, the battery drain... Gyahhhh...@#$%^&*()!

Oh what's it you ask? Of course I'm talking about Windows Vista! Been using it for 3 months. It seems like each and every time I open my laptop the speed get slower and slower... I can feel my head is growing more white hair than they should and that my health is deteriorating fast.

People always tell me the new is better. Blehhh... either they're just plain dumb or they use Mac. For now, I'll stick back to Windows XP. The only way I'll get back to Vista is someone giving me RM1 million. Maybe Windows 7 will be better, but hey, it is still Windows... (shrug)

Hmmm... Doesn't this situation kind of similiar? Oh yeah... same thing happen during Windows 98 - Millennium - XP transition time. Heh, still Windows.

OK OK...! I know I promised to do a report on my Bandung trip. I'll get into it as soon as possible! Hopefully... maybe...

Trust Issue

Is it so hard to remember to bring the frigging things I asked for? It had been like a month and I still haven't got it! I had called, texted, reminded, pushed, blowed and yet people can STILL be ignorant enough to remember to bring the frigging thing! Dudes, you're like, 20+ years old already. Do you need me to YELL at you? If I have to, things will be ugly. Yeah, if you forgot about it the first time I can still laugh it off but after the tenth time it's not funny. It's downright absurd.

And people have the nerve to tell me that I had trust issue. I'm being very patience because I'm borrowing things from these people. You are the one who say I can borrow it so make your words count! If you changed your mind, tell me so I don't need to wait like brick! When I asked politely why you forgot to bring it you give me those stupid face that says: "You think I owe you?" You never know how hard I try to resist the urge to punch you right in your monkey face...

Heck, it even happened when I borrow them things. I had told them it is not mine and they should return it to me when they are done with it. In the end, guess what? Waited half a month and wasted all those phone credits to tell them "give me back the effing thing!!!" Look, if you continue to behave like this in the end it will only bite you back HARD. Your behaviour will going to deeply impact your working and social life. Hell, what do they know? They don't need to use their effing money to go to college or university. Surely they think they can still fool around like they are now when they are working.

...
Damn. You know what? I'll never borrow things to AND from them anymore. Go eat banana!

Misunderstood

http://nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Thursday/National/2353053/Article/index_html

Why bother? We all know they are a bunch of assholes misunderstood people. OK, maybe only most of them are. I sincerely apologize for the remaining 0.01% of the population.
They come in and act like they are your master, demanding you to keep up with their annoying and unreasonable demand. Go play with a stick, assholes misunderstood people.

Please don't ISA me.

Bash Fest

I... frigging... HATE Outlook 2007!!! (try ugrading from Outlook 2003 to 2007 and you will see, yes you WILL see...)
I frigging hate Windows Vista!!! (ever try to workaround all those stoopid Network setting? I just want to check the frigging IP setting!!!)
I frigging hate Windows Live Messenger!!! (what with the constant disconnection and the advertisement harassment, bundle with the slooooow folder sharing and the useless Remote Asisstance feature)
.....
I frigging hate ANYTHING from Bill Gates!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet we still need his OS and Office suite... aaarghhhhh the irony.

Here's hoping for the inevitable Google OS (let's face it, Linux is too much for normal user & Mac is just... well the fact that there are now Mac Machine with Windows OS explain it all) and Google Office Suite (yes they have online version but that's just it: online version. What if your internet provider lost its telecommunication tower and down for a week? OpenOffice is another great option but hell, why not Google Office? Let's heat up the competition for the benefit of end users!!!)

Last week, our "beloved" Prime Minister Pak Lah decided to give a surprise visit to our "beloved" public transport; namely KTM and Putra(Star) LRT. From what we can read, it seems that he is unsatisfied with the public transport service, what with the delay of train, over congested and among others.

Yep. Great. So noble of you. From what I perceived, it appears to me that our PM just doesn't listen to our complaints about public transport FOR YEARS ago. Maybe he thinks that we are exaggerating or he just doesn’t care. Now that he finally "turun padang", he complains that it is bad, it is unsatisfactory it is this and it is that. Well, thank you for letting us know what we ALREADY know. Now, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

He's lucky he didn't choose to take the public bus during the peak hour, when it rain. Else he'll be greeted by the best scent he can find in Malaysia, hehe.

In the time when oil prices had skyrocketed, the Government urged us to use public transportation to go to work. However I don't think the current public transportation system can save us any money. For example, if I work in KL Sentral, I would have to take the bus early morning from my house, costing RM1.00. Reach Pandan Jaya LRT Station (I lived in Pandan Perdana) in 30 minutes time (commute + waiting time), pay RM2.40 per ticket to go to Masjid Jamek (20 minutes commute time) then walk 5 minutes to the Masjid Jamek Putra LRT station. From there, pay RM1.30 to finally reach KL Sentral. Overall I need to pay RM5.70 and use around 1 hour 15 minutes to go to work alone. In the end I would need to spend RM11.40 and 2 hour 30 minutes a day to work.

In a month I would use up to RM228... Well, if compare to a car, depending on the company you worked for, you might not need to pay parking fee or maybe buy a season pass. That if you work in a building or complex. If you work in industrial area parking fee is almost non-existent. If I drive a car to KL Sentral to work, minus the parking fee (let just assume there is no parking fee) the amount of money I use for driving and taking public transport is almost the same. Heck, I would rather get stuck in a traffic jam every morning in my own car than get stuffed in the bus or LRT like sardine in a can.

In conclusion, buy a motorcycle to work...

It's super fuel-efficient and you can just literally park anywhere. If you scared your motorcycle will get summoned for illegal parking or stolen by Mat Rempits, buy a used bikes and those of unfamous brand. Keep out of Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki. It is the prime target for theft.

P/S: Don't argue with me about how unsafe a motorcycle is. If you ride like an idiot, most likely you'll die an idiot.

Is it just me or is everyone seems to lost their ability to give functional opinion/advice? What happened was that I was dumbfounded between two choices so naturally, I will ask for opinions from my friends. Yes they gave me sound advice but to my surprise, all of them will say, "In the end, it all depends on what you want"... or similar context. It is like you have to choose between apple and orange; you ask them to help you to choose one and they tell you all of their merits and demerits: one is sweet and the other sour, one is red and the other orange etc etc... But in the end of it, they tell you to choose which one you like best. YEAH... thanks for helping. It is because I cannot choose one that I like best that I ask you for help. When all saliva are wasted, it is back to square one... >_<

Objectivity is too overrated...

I guess sometime, you need subjective opinion to make a decision. Otherwise, you will forever stuck in the middle ground do not know which path to take. However I want to make it clear that I really appreciate all the advice and opinion my friends had given me. It is just that I feel they are a littttttle bit too objective. So next time if you ask me for opinions, I will choose a side and use all of my power to convert you into my thinking. Nyeknyeknyekkk...

Wake Me Up When September Ends

Urghhh... after all the urging and blowing, I thought I am finally going to update this blog on last weekend. But I didn't. Why? Well, last Saturday I went to climb Mount Tabur, East side with the guys (Mohan, WaiKiat, YewWing, SuMay[is that how it is spelled?], KaiLiang & his wife Grace[huhu], AhPat[don't remember his name but that's how WK&YW call him haha], AhPat's friendsX2 and Jay & his brother[our guide woohooo!] and 1 more guy[also forgot his name]).

Woke up at 5.45am. I'd set my alarm to 5.00am. but I only wake up after 45minutes :-P. Feel like a zombie 'cause I slept like for 4 hours+ only. =_= But I'm better than Mohan. He is supposed to fetch me at 6.15am. and reach KaiLiang's place at 6.20am. Guess what? At 6.10am Mohan called me and ask what time he should reach my house. I was like, "Yeah, you should reach here like, well, NOW???" OK, don't matter. Then he asks me what he should bring and ask me whether I can borrow my shoe to him. Nicely done, lad, nicely done.

Reach KaiLiang's place at 7am. My gosh luckily KaiLiang doesn't have a temper or else I would have been chopped by him. Which if it happen I will promptly push the responsibility to Mohan haha! OK, after 20 minutes we reach our meeting point, which is YewWing's house. Fast forwardX2 and we reach Bukit Tabur West side! Woohooo!!!

Honestly, this mountain route is neither as fun nor challenging than the East side. Well I don't mind climbing West partly because I haven't been here before... Next time go East side lah. This route also annoyed me a lot because the path is full of sharp rocks (painful to the feet ohhhhh...), there is too many sector that can only be cleared one person at a time. What that means is it will involve a lot of waiting and "traffic jam". What with the other group of climbers catching us from behind. It's because of the waiting that eventually make this expedition a 5 hour long expedition. 5 hour!!! X-S

5 hour is a long time and when you got to go, you got to go. Which I did... (silence) Erm, OK! After we climb back down, we decided to have lunch at McD Melati. In which I think to myself, all the calories I burnt in 5 hour long expedition I gained back in just 30 minutes trip to McD X-D.

When I reached home it's already 2pm. Guitar class? Nah forget it. Too tired to do anything, but online. Online online online for 3 hours, take a bath and decided to sleep a while. Now this is where things get interesting! Apparently I forgot to set my alarm and when I woke up, its 1am. Yeah, 1am. =_= Urghhhh... went to my regular mamak for late dinner walking like a zombie. It's 2am. Everyone's sleeping. Nobody online to chat with. Not sleepy enough for another go. Heck, decided to play ICO till 7am and sleep back until 1pm. Hell yeah! Now that's a good weekend spent yeah?!

P/S: Will update pictures if I managed to get hold on it.

Update: Apparently AhPat's real name is BanChai but I'm still going to call him AhPat X-D and "1 more guy" is called AhYaw.

Savin' Me

Yesterday the guys & me went to watch Hancock. It's quite an eventful day because tomorrow Raymond will be leaving for Sabah to start his new semester and Mohan just came back from Russia for holiday. Seems like they are passing the baton, one leave and another one come in haha. Anyway Raymond will be back again this November for yet another semester break; so look forward to it. The movie will start at 10.30pm but I went there early around 9pm because I need to buy present for Ashley. Yeah my bad because her birthday over already but I still haven't buy her a present X-D

To my dismay I couldn't find a Nike shop in Times Square! Wasted my time and energy -_-". Well that tells a lot eh? Nike is such a famous brand but yet they have no shop in Times Square, which is self-proclaimed largest shopping mall in Boleh-land until along came QueensBay Mall in Penang. Anyway, gave up my search for present and went to Starbuck instead. Yes yes I worked for Coffee Bean but it is so near to the cinema. No point go all the way to Sungei Wang just to have a coffee. There I met with Raymond & Mohan. After so long haven't see Mohan, he look ........ (in search of better word) ......... erm, moving on!

Then suddenly Mohan ask me whether I brought a camera along and I was like, "Dude, it's just a movie outing! Why on Earth do you want to bring a camera along?" "Well, why not?" He replied. "I'm a camera whore mah!" Ohkaaaaaaay... although I'll happily admit that I'm a shutterbug but I ain't no camera whore. So since whore usually reserved for female does that means Mohan is actually a transgender? If he's not, should we call him camera man-whore or camera gigolo? I rest the case on you... After constant begging and fist-shoving, I'd finally agreed to use my camera phone to snap some pictures of us... in public... self-captured...

1) Mohan making stupid face. Wait, his face IS stupid. 2) Nice job putting me in the middle. 3) GYAHHHHHH!!!

After clocking in near 10.30pm, the guys finally arrived. Bought some drinks, popcorn blablabla and in we go! To be honest, Hancock is a good movie, albeit a little too short. The show spanned around 1 & 1/2 hour, the first part was OK but after reaching the half hour mark everything seems to be rushed. You will feel like the movie is trying to finish as soon as possible. However, you will be leaving the cinema laughing.

After the movie we went to have a drink at mamak in Pandan Jaya. Heed this warning: if you ever have a chance to sit in a car driven by Mohan, you better be sure that:
1) You were sitting behind in the passenger seat.
2) Fasten your seatbelt if you sit in front.
3) Confiscate his handphone. (He treasure his call more than his life)
4) You better have bought a life insurance.
5) Pray to the God you worship that the journey end as soon as possible.

Why I'm giving you all of this warning? Well let's just say that I have cheated Death, twice. Anyway we talk rubbish until 2.00 a.m. and go home sleep. That is all.

Black Hole Sun

Sigh... received a very bad news few days ago. Apparently the event of my company's Sport Day had been changed. Initially they were going to organize track events (1oom, 200m, 4X100m, and 1000m), now it's canceled due to reason that we are not supposed know (I guess). Instead we'll have 7-a-side football match and netball match. Wasn't that bad you say? Well problem is I'd always achieve better in track events. What? You think people who wear spectacle can't run fast? Anyway what made me sad was that I had trained myself in Spartan mode for more than two months! Now I can kiss my effort bye-bye... oh well, I think I'll utilize the stamina I gained for my new found interest: hill climbing. :-P

Another One Bite The Dust

Today mark the 25th birthday of my sister, Man Wai. Coincidentally it is also the birthday of a dear friend: Ashley. I wish them nothing but the best year ahead of them. At first we didn't think of throwing any party for my sister. But at about 5.00p.m. her boyfriend Henry called me and ask me to make a surprise party for her. Oh, what the heck... Went to Secret Recipe in Jaya Jusco Maluri and bought a whole cake. It's called Chocolate Indulgence... not bad at all I must say. Soft and chocolaty, almost feel like eating ice-cream cake.

I was then have to transport the cake back to my home with my bike. My GOD... that's the hardest delivery I have ever made. Must concentrate hard to look for smooth spot in our famous KL road. Not easy nor fun. But in the end I made it to my home without damaging the cake. Pheeew...!

It was 8p.m. and she's going to arrive at 10.30. Have to do every task in Mach 2 speed. Walk the dog, feed the dog, clean the table, sweep the floor, take a bath and prepare. Before she arrive I take out the cake, put it on the table, light the candle and turn all light off. Now it's time to take out the guitar! Booyaah!!! When she open the door we sang her Happy Birthday song and she was so embarrassed that she hide inside the room haha!!! Now that's a good way to pay her back for all the trouble she gave me ;-)

First post

My first post. Although can't think of anything important to post right now but I must post one anyway today because it's my birthday! That way I can remember when I started this blog. I'm not first time blogger as I previously have a blog in Friendster, but decided to try something new. See what's the different... so, stay tuned for more post!
